Biblical Truths
Every Bible verse I read is simple, then eternal, then complicated, then frightening at times, and sometimes very hard to not consider. The truth is that the point of the Bible, Jesus, is implying many things in which I've missed a lot of study on. The words in the below message are striking; as a wave of air blows underneath my left foot, I sense God's spirit to guide me into the truth and give my perspective on it. The verse says "what sorrow awaits you who are fat and prosperous now,..." This is quite a statement that reveals only within itself something about balance. The terms of "now" I believe have a multi-vertical meaning which implies when Jesus spoke them and now that I read them 2022 years later. I feel understanding of it, and I was very ignorant for a long time about the truth of scriptures. I'm starting to face the reality of them in my own life and the lack thereof in humble reverence and service. The predictions for the rich and fat prosperous and laughing are of sorrow, and for those that didn't obtain these states then they will come to fruition. Also another divider in our life since Jesus came to bring a sword is loving other people outside of our family. Love, do good, bless, and pray are the key words to our disposition towards outsiders whom are enemies, hateful, cursing, and hurtful. The most mysterious thing about The Word is that it contains everything you need in it to live life correctly. In the previous verse in Luke that says " When they should be hated, discarded, reproached, and anathematized: and leap for joy; as if the greatest honor and happiness imaginable had been conferred on them; and as persons do, when in the greatest rapture: for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for in the like manner did
their fathers unto the prophets;... I've considered now that this one bedrock of a page has but one small command, and that is to love your enemies and do good to everyone. Even sinners love others, and a Christian should love even those whom hate them.
